James Hartzog Collection
The collection consists of items from his high school years, clippings about his military service and death, some family correspondence, items from Davidson College, including hs diploma, and photographs.
Proctor Family Letters
The collection consists of two letters. One was written in April 1941 to Elizabeth Proctor by her mother and discusses clothing and health. The other was written in October by G.D. Proctor to his mother while he was in the VA hospital in Roanoke, VA with references to war news and conditions.

The collection consists of an oversize color photograph, an Army Air Corps certificate, his Davidson diploma, and an obituary. The diploma is housed with the diploma collection. Two additional photographs are housed with the archives photograph collection (images of Phi Delta Gamma members).
William Taliaferro Thompson Sermon
The collection consists of the sermon Thompson gave for Davidson College's Service of Remembrance on October 27, 1946. The service was held to honor Davidsonians who had served in World War II.
