Davidsonian. Records, 1920-1966, 2007-
The files contain a copy of the Style Book used by the editors of the Davidsonian in 1961 and copies of the Banquet held by the Davidsonian staff in 1920 and 1966. The Drinking folder contains copies of campus memos and interviews around the topic of alcohol regulations on campus. Copies of the actual newspaper are housed in the reading room of the College Archives and in the Davidsoniana Room on the second floor of the E. H. Little Library.

Interview of Herb Jackson ‘67 by John P. Scherer (Class of 1989) as part of his senior project for the history department. Jackson describes the Vietnam War issue on Davidson’s campus through the late 1960s and early 1970s. Jackson discusses student-faculty relations, activism, the fraternity issue, the draft, lack of support for art at Davidson, and compulsory ROTC and vespers and chapel attendance.
