Scope and Contents The records for Alumni Relations date from the 1840s to the present but the majority of files date from 1958 to the present. Scope and Contents

The records contain minutes of the General Alumni Association meetings, and Executive Committee meetings (1931-1942, during the 1940s the executive committee minutes issued as part of the general minutes), committee reports, and correspondence related to the Alumni Council or Alumni Association Boards. Minutes for 1868 to 1929 are in a ledger.

Scope and Contents The Chapter files contain invitations, attendance lists, and correspondence about events held for the college's alumni chapters. Most chapters are based in cities but some represent several towns or even a state. The events range from pre-game parties to presidential receptions and faculty panels. The files consist of class lists, correspondence, announcements of alumni reunions and copies of reunion booklets. Photographs from the files are housed in the Photograph Collection. The photographs include some original pictures from the undergraduate years of the class and reunion photographs, especially 50 year reunions. The class of 1951 file also contains copies of the Class Oration, Class Day history,and class day valedictory.
