Scope and Contents This collection includes 174 folders of correspondence between members of the Davidson family and their respective communities ranging from March 6, 1836 to June 20, 1913. The collection consists of copies of the Family Register pages from a Davidson family bible. The majority of the information was written by John M. W. Davidson, son of Johan and Sarah Brevard Davidson and grandson of John and Violet Davidson. There are four pages listings births, marriages and deaths. The dates range from 1735 to 1956 with the bulk of the information , 1735 to 1875.
