This council was involved in discussing club sports and considering appropriate conference alignment for the intercollegiate programs. They also discussed the college's membership in the Southern Conference and that the football team should compete on the Division 2 level rather than in Division 1 (February 1977). Discussion was also made on developing a budget for the Department of Athletics and of the writing of guidlines on recruiting athletes.
