The Committee on Resources, Population, and Environment was establisehd under the aegis of the Educational Policy Committee to investigate the possibilities of incorporating into the Davidon curriculum interdisciplinary teaching in the areas of population growth, resource depletion and environmental degradation. This project came in response to a call issued by the North Carolina Academy of Science in 1980.
