Biographical / Historical
The Academic Strategic Planning Team (ASPT) was formed in 1996 as an ad hoc team of administrators and faculty whose main fuction was to project resource allocations for the years 1996-2001 as part of a College-wide planning process. The team was strictly advisory to the VPAA/Dean of Faculty and had no independent authority. All educational policy matters were forwarded to the Educational Policy Committee or other appropriate faculty committees. The team is not a standing committee but a team which dissolved when the strategic plan for 1996-2001 was in place at the College.
