During the interview Ramirez discusses why she chose to attend Davidson College and how she found a sense of community at Davidson. Ramirez participated in several organizations—including, Students Together Reaching for Individual Development and Education (STRIDE), Organization of Latin American (OLAS), and Minority Association for Premedical Students (MAPS)
