Egbert Watson Smith Speech
The collection consists of a prize essay, "Agnosticism in Religion," presented in 1882.
James Bayliss Smith Papers
This collection consists of letters written by Smith to family and friends while a student at Davidson, a letter from J. R. Blake offering a position as tutor at Davidson and the manuscript of Smith's valedictory address. In his student letters, Smith describes his religious conversion and college life. There are also typescripts of some of the letters.

The collection consists of annual program booklets, 1940-1992 and a typescript of a lecture, 1959. The booklets list officers, members and program topics. The lecture was given in 1959 by Mary Black on "Religion in Davidson."
