Biographical / Historical

The Library Committe was created as a body of faculty members that would advise the Director of the Library. The members also approved book requests and funding for book grants. The committee also designed a library handbook as well as the Notes and News About the Library. This committee now offers counsel advice on the formulation of policies of operation and development of the Librayr and makes recommendations where appropriate concerning its improvement. The committee supervises the allotment of funds to departments or other agencies for the pruchase of books, periodicals and other equipment.
