The Faculty Research Files are records of research grants award to individual faculty members through the college. Files include proposals, expenditure reports, and final reports.

This collection consists of publicity files compiled on campus staff and faculty. The files may contain newspaper clippings, press releases, vitas,and photographs.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a bound volume of reports from both the AAUP committee and Professional Affairs committee from 1961 to 1986. It also includes examples of the Terms of Employment for Davidson College Faculty, 1961-1972. The reports contain narrative sections and charts with salaries for comparable institutions and comparisons over time.
