William Preston Bynum Collection
The collection consists of notes taken by Bynum on lectures delivered by Professor P. J. Sparrow on Greek and Latin in 1838 and two tuition receipts. The 1838 receipt is signed by Robert Hall Morrison and the 1839 receipt is signed by Thomas.H. Robinson.
William R. Trotter Collection
The collection consists of the draft of an essay: "Mr. Chips Meets Marshall McLuhan," a play "November Requiem," and the manuscript for a novel "Prunes" that satirizes college life.
William Richard Grey Papers
The collection consists of legal and financial materials, notebooks, and printed material. The legal and financial materials include a reference letter, contracts for mineral rights, and receipts. The notebooks are Grey's grade books for his Latin classes. The printed material is a copy of Grey's dissertation, "The Treatment of Philosophy and Philosophers by the Greek Comic Poets."

The collection contains twelve notebooks of class notes from both Davidson and Johns Hopkins, subjects including: Greek Literature, Cicero, Greek Syntax, Greek Philosophy, History of Philosophy, and Latin. A thirteenth notebook appears to have been written during his time in Alabama, as the only date mentioned in it is 1910.

The collection consists of letters written by Abbot to his parents while at Davidson, correspondence between Davidson College and the Abbot family, letters written by Abbot's parents, and grade reports. Included in the Davidson College correspondence are two letters from Davidson president Walter Lingle.

The collection consists of letters written by Robinson. The letters from 1857-1860 discuss family and college life while the letters from 1861-1864 describe Robinson's activities during the Civil War.
