Scope and Contents While a student at Davidson College, Aubrey Neblett Brown, Jr. kept a scrapbook of his experiences. Of particular note is his documentation of a trip that he and three friends made by car from Davidson to Mineral Springs, Texas. Information and photographs from the trip may be found on pages 43 and 53-55 of the scrapbook. These letters cover a wide range of topics. One folder contains general correspondence written between 1890-1900. The other folders include letters concerning the hiring of Paul Barringer as teh college physician, Scholarships, Presbytery Reports, and the Ott Lectureship. Of particular interest is the folder marked William Bingham, which details an incident in which a professor was forced to resign after striking a student.

This collection consists of research materials used by Pete Bradshaw in the writing of his book on Peter Stuart Ney, Execution Denied and also some materials he created. The materials include books, posters and artifacts. The posters are include promotional materials for the book, maps and a timeline of Napoleon's march to Moscow. The artifacts are balls of shot similat to what would have been used by soldiers in Ney's time.
