Oral history interview with Marie Lupe Guerrero, Davidson College class of 2012. Guerrero identifies as a first generation college student and Mexican-American. She is from Chicago, IL and discusses the sociocultural differences between Chicago and the rural area around Davidson College. While at Davidson, Guerrero was a Charles Scholar and participated in Davidson Outdoors, OLAS, and worked as a volunteer with the free clinic at the Ada Jenkins Center.

Interview of Dr. Max E. Polley by John P. Scherer (Class of 1989) as part of his senior project for the history department. Polley describes the Vietnam War issue on Davidson’s campus through the late 1960s and early 1970s. Polley discusses student-faculty relations, faculty-admin relations, activism, civil rights, conscientious objectors, and compulsory ROTC and vespers and chapel attendance.
