Reynolds Bascomb Price Papers
Richard Ellis Sherrill Collection
The collection consists of Sherrill's Valedictory Address given in 1841 and a photocopy of his diary from September 1837 to January 1852. The diary begins on the first day of his second term at Davidson and covers his time at Davidson, his early career as a teacher, his time at Columbia Seminary, and the early years of his ministry. Much of the journal is personal reflections on the state of his faith but he also includes references to visits with friends, travel and church matters.

Risden Bennett Gaddy Notebook
The collection consists of Gaddy's college notebook. The first entry indicates the notebook is intended to be record of his college experiences. A second note dated 1859 indicates that only a few speeches were ever added to the notebook. The speeches are on Cheap Literature, the Acquisition of Cuba, and Gaddy's valedictory address.
Robert A. Davidson Letters
The collection consists of two letters Davidson wrote while a student at Davidson College describing college life.
Robert E. Hayes Collection
The collection contains correspondence, printed materials, and literary materials. The correspondence is primarily personal letters from friends (1955-1959). The printed materials are copies of articles about Hayes. The literary material from his years as a student at Davidson College includes poetry and prose. The post-Davidson material includes an epic poem, a short story, a paper he gave on "Aphasia," a bound copy of his various publications, and a poetry journal.

The collection consists of Little's inaugural address as president of the Philanthropic Society in 1873.
Robert Gordon Sparrow Collection
This collection consists of six issues of the newspaper and a speech on Charles Egbert Craddock given April 29, 1887. The newspapers are housed with oversize materials. Issues include 11 May 1883 (no. 16), 8 June 1883 (no.20), 21 June 1883 (no. 22), 29 June 1883 (no23), 18 January 1884, and 1 February 1884 (no 27). The paper began as the Weekly Enterprise, by January 1884 it was known as the Davidson College Enterprise.
Robert Hall Morrison, Jr. Collection
The collection consists of two letters written by Morrison. One letter, dated June 17, 1868 discusses his father's health and conditions at Davidson College. The second letter was written to Henry Louis Smith about Davidson after the Civil War. DC0225s contains related material about the Morrison family.

The collection contains a newspaper article about the founding of the group, an article form the 1978 Quips and Cranks, and numerous invitations to parties. There is also e-mail correspondence regarding the house events, and also includes a Davidsonian article concerning their Operation Smile project, as well as an application form for the Sig Ep 2003 Turkey Trot. The Presidents folder contains photocopied pictures of past presidents, and the Photos folder contains assorted photos.

This collection consists of Telfair's "Respondent's Address" given before the Philanthropic Society in 1883.
Samuel Reece Neel Notebook
The collection consists of Neel's student notebook which later became his diary. The notebooks contains notes from D.H. Hill's mathematics class, an account of textbooks purchased by Price, a list of his classmates and their class standings, a diary of his Civil War experience, 1861-1865, a diary of his teaching at Cool Springs Academy, 1866-1868, and a diary of his teaching at Bethel Academy, 1869. The school diary portions include lists of students and expense accounts.
