Lenoir High School Band Collection
Leo R. Kubeska Memoirs
The collection consists of a four page typescript of his memoirs of his experiences at Davidson. It is entitled "Davidson College Contributed to WWII Victory" and provides some background on the college's role in military training as well as stories of training and social events. There is also a photograph of Mr. Kubeska in his military uniform c1943 and one with him standing in front of a plane.

The collection consists of 10 letters written by Walter and Charlie to their parents and a grade report from Davidson College for Walter. the letters date from July to December 1873 and discuss the brothers' finances and academic plans.
Lewis Bell Papers
The collection consists of a printed copy of the Rev. J. Jones Smyth's address given at Davidson in 1855 and four documents. The printed speech has handwritten notes on the back cover. The documents include a list of Davidson College students with grade averages for the period 1865 to 1868, a recipe for Mothers Bitters, an 1870 employment contract between Bell and patrons of Davidson River Academy, and an 1871 donation solication letter from the Eumenean Literary Society.

Linton Deck Reminiscences
Linton Deck '50 wrote The Four Star Roommate, a biography of his roommate General Bill Richardson, for the 60th reunion of the class of 1950. Deck and Richardson lived together in room 312 of Watts dormitory in 1946. Richardson only stayed at Davidson for one year, leaving Davidson for a commission at West Point Military Academy. This biography illustrates the career of service that Richardson had after leaving Davidson, working his way up to the rank of four-star general.
