The collection consists of the printed 47 page volume. The inside covers the book have plates and marks from 3 different campus libraries. There is also a typed sheet with examples from the book showing content reflecting the historical era and race relations.

The records include files on the 1949 Campaign for Davidson, correspondence concerning Congolese students, a 1986 grant proposal to the PEW Foundation for Liberal Arts Enrichment, reports on Fund Raising activities, the Lucy C. Johnston Memorial Fund, the "Doc" White Memorial Fund, the Heath Whittle Track Fund, Dean Rusk Program events, copies of publications and program manuals.

The records consist of departmental administrative files, committee minutes, reports to the North Carolina Department of Education, documents for accreditation visits and project files. There is additional information on the program in RG 3/1.2.053, Faculty Committee on Teacher Education. Photographs of student teachers can be found in the Curricula- Education folders and there is a departmental T-shirt in the Artifact Collection (A-620).
Henry Hollingsworth Harris Collection
The collection consists of an annotated textbook, a copy of an exam and a list of suggested readings for college students. The textbook is Outlines for Review of the Fundamental Principals of the Law and was probably used in Professor Currie's Political Science courses dealing with American Law. The exam is from Business 1 - Marketing.
