Harry Lee Vance Collection
The collection consists of his scrapbook, certificates, correspondence, clippings and a framed photograph montage. The scrapbook primarily documents his college years and has a heavy emphasis on sports. The certificates are for lettering in sports, participation in ROTC, and membership in ODK (Omicron Delta Kappa). The correspondence is from 1926-1930 and the clippings are from the "Mystery Photo" feature of the Mecklenburg Gazette in 1981.

The collection consists of a letter written to Miss Cornelia Shaw, librarian of Davidson College. The letter gives some family history and describes college life and the faculty in the 1860s. Henry Elias Fries Papers
The collection consists of manuscript copies of 4 letters and photocopies of 22 letters written by Fries (1874-1876) and speeches given to the Philanthropic Society as vice-president and president in 1877. The letters discuss college life and Davidson faculty. The location of the original letters for the photocopies in unknown.

The collection consists of an annotated textbook, a copy of an exam and a list of suggested readings for college students. The textbook is Outlines for Review of the Fundamental Principals of the Law and was probably used in Professor Currie's Political Science courses dealing with American Law. The exam is from Business 1 - Marketing.
