Clifford Rankin "Pat" Crawford Memoirs & Scrapbook

Scope and Contents The collection consists of a memoir and a scrapbook. The memoir is entitled Baseball Life of C.R. "Pat" Crawford, written by Crawford and later retyped and printed by his family. The scrapbook was compiled by Crawford. It is mostly newspaper clipping from his college baseball career and early professional career as a player and coach. There are also photographs from college games. Artifacts A584-587 are signed baseballs belonging to Crawford.

Colin Alexander Munroe Letters

Scope and Contents The collection consists of two letters written by Munroe. The first written in 1869 while Munroe was a student describes Davidson College and the faculty. There is also a typescript of the letter. The second letter was written in 1917 to Miss Cornelia Shaw and gives his memories of college life.
